I had more money before a Certain Someone encouraged me to read Gotham Central. Money that could have gone to the DNC.

Agreed. But I do use the nice mailing labels that the causes send. I used to feel guilty about it until the Admiral pointed out that at least I'm advertising their cause even if I don't send money.
