I was skimming this article at CNN.com about Bush going after conservative Democrats, and I was about two-thirds of the way through when I started thinking "I need a stiff drink."

I never thought I'd say this--but Bush makes Nixon look like a saint.

I've never anyone as pure evil as much as Bush--he's completely incapable of telling the truth or doing ANYTHING to help the American people.

I hope 20 years from now we're looking back at Bush as the Christian Coalition's last stand. :)

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

When I heard him say this I almost ran off the road. When I heard the neo-cons make excuses for him I wanted to hurl.

This doofus makes me sick!!!

Back during the Nixon Administration, CREEP-the committee to re-elect the President, had a name for all the trickery and underhanded dirty politicking. They jokingly referred to it as Rat Fucking. These Neo-Cons make those guys look like frat boys. Hopefully, people will look at this and realize what a bunch of a-holes they are.

"I need a stiff drink."

We're all going to need one if he wins the next election. I'm planning to take the day off so that if he loses, I can celebrate.

And if he wins, so I can crawl underground and mourn.

Oh, there's one thing I know for sure -- I'm going to have a killer hangover the day after the election. I just don't know if it's going to be from celebrating or drinking myself into a stupor to keep myself from doing something that would get me arrested.

the odd thing is, since Bush and Kerry are substantively not very different, I don't see why "conservative" Democrats would see him as a better choice.

It's so fucked that Bush gets to play the war card, but Kerry is just as pro-war as he is. I don't get it.
Strategically at this point it would make more sense for Kerry to come out as completely anti-war, since Bush is absorbing the pro-war vote anyway.

The thing that drives me nuts is that he's trying to do this based on hate, and people are letting him. Why do people give a fuck if gays get married? Are they that insecure?

These neo-cons can't even run on their own record so they got to go out and bash and mudsling and play dirty politics. Yet they insist that "we" are the ones who hate and aren't inclusive!!

What color is the sky in their world?

I long for the day that we get a valid candidate who ISN'T a corporate toadie... is Ralph Nader REALLY the closest we're going to get to that?? If so, I fear for us all.

Typical Republican economic policy. Tell the people who’s lives you’ve ruined to put more money in the pockets of your corporate contributors that things are just fine!
I’m a yellow-dog democrat living in north Texas. My voting for Kerry and Edwards will be the very definition of futility. But I’ll do it anyway.
