This has become an all too familiar statement it seems.
Good Luck Darling! Don't give up, if you were meant to stay, you will will stay!
Unfortunately, I am not much help as far as advice on where to look....
Are temp services hiring?
Date: 2002-08-05 06:41 am (UTC)But the beauty of working temp is that if you need to take off, you can. If you get hired elsewhere, no problem. If you want to work in a certain area, tell 'em, they'll get you jobs there.
Downsides: regularity of net access @ work, the fact that you're always an outsider, the fact that the range of supervisory talent and ability varies greatly (understatement), the fact that you have to go to lunch alone for the most part...variability of work schedules, drive times, etc., etc. Sometimes it really sucks. But it is work. And it can be relatively steady, especially if you have two or more agencies working with you. Don't ever go with an agency that requires you to pay them. That's not how it works *ever*.
Did you lose your job? That's not apparent in your journal...if so, my heartfelt condolences.
