I've mentioned before that my mom makes fun of me for being more interested in toys now than when I was a kid. But this is really getting out of hand...
I haven't thought about Barbies in years. Compared to most girls, I probably wasn't even that into Barbies (though I do seem to remember having a lot of them). I have admired my friend Emily's collection, and I think I may have written a post once bitching about the fact that the bitch has better clothes than I do (or was that drag queens?).
But over break I was browsing at Target with Mom and saw this doll and fell in love. I have to get her! She's so pretty! And she's Celtic!
I need to have my head examined.
But Emily says if I get her, I can come over and play Barbies with her!!

Date: 2002-03-18 04:55 am (UTC)'song doesn't open her Barbies. I've got mixed feelings on toys -- sometimes, the packaging itself just rules, and sometimes I've gotten things signed (like Bob Burden signing my Flaming Carrot action figure's box). I've been known to buy two (or more) toys at times, to have one to play with and one in a display. I've actually got at least five Usagi Yojimbo action figures, thanks to this and the need to get all variants. :-)
