My monthly making-with-the-Gotham-Central-*lurve*

Hey estimatdprophet, you said to give you a heads-up when the new Gotham Central story arc started up, and here it is. Well, actually I phone-posted it last night, but no one was bored enough to transcribe it, so here you go. And boy howdy is it starting with a bang (literally and figuratively) -- shades of not one but two of the all-time great Homicide storylines.

Two words: clean shoot.

Crispus Allen and Renee Montoya are what Pembleton and Bayliss would have been if Frank weren't a dick and Tim weren't a wuss. *warm fuzzies for the partner love*

Or possibly what Beau and Kay would have been if Beau weren't a total fuckup.

Okay, for my own idle curiosity, how many of you have I gotten hooked on Homicide and/or Gotham Central? Inquiring minds want to know.

I've become heartily addicted to Homicide, thanks to your posts and my Mom's impeccable television programming taste. I have yet to find a reasonably near-by comic book store, so I am denied Gotham Central. And the end of Transmetropolitan, which should tell you how long I have been with out comics.

To make up for the Snark delay, you will eventually be recieving funky "used to be an AOL CD" recycled jewlery. But I'll be sending that seperately, so some Snark is sent speedily ( a little alliteration is lovely when it isn't lurid -- dontcha think?)
