I was scouting some free food left over from the law school orientation (ongoing, so I should be able to score several free meals -- me, mercenary? Hell yes!) when some law students started walking towards me. One of them said "You were on Jeopardy!"
These two guys had remembered seeing me this summer and thought I was one of Ken's better competitors. We had a nice chat.
Why is this worthy of a post? Because it's the first time in my memory that law students have looked at me with anything even approaching respect.

Date: 2004-08-20 01:02 pm (UTC)besides, i guess it's impossible to be in a bad mood or treat anyone really that badly here, where it's always around an even 75 degrees and sunny and the ocean is 100 yards across the street.

Date: 2004-08-19 01:43 pm (UTC)Yeah, the guys were like "you were one of the best people ever on against Ken." I asked them to write in and ask for the Beat By Ken Tournament.
