That's really though. I voted for Constantine becase it's a book that I really love and a shitty adaptation will sting far more than a shitty movie about a character that doesn't mean much to me.
Emotional ties excluded, I think Catwoman will suck more, though.

i got catwoman's comic when it first came out (alas, i have lost all the issues i collected, including the #1!!), and jesus, there's LOTS of material there they could have used to make a perfectly good movie. what is it about genuinely strong female characters that makes hollywood run away screaming?
I dunno. I really like the current Catwoman series, and you're right it would be SO EASY to make a good Catwoman movie. Hell, AT LEAST give her a halfway decent costume!!! What the fuck is going on with the ears?!?!

I had no problems with the "Batman Returns" version of Catwoman. I thought her, coming into herself, was a good thing. I have no idea what Her movie is going to look like.
But Keanu Reeves is NOT JOHN CONSTANTINE. They have butchered everything that was Constantine about "Hellblazer," and Gentrified and Americanized it. L.A.? American? What the FUCK?! Fuck that sideways and blind.
But, but Constantine has Rachel Weisz and Tilda Swinton for me to look forward to...AND I find Keanu to be far more tolerable than Halle Berry ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
