That's really though. I voted for Constantine becase it's a book that I really love and a shitty adaptation will sting far more than a shitty movie about a character that doesn't mean much to me.
Emotional ties excluded, I think Catwoman will suck more, though.
I had no problems with the "Batman Returns" version of Catwoman. I thought her, coming into herself, was a good thing. I have no idea what Her movie is going to look like.
But Keanu Reeves is NOT JOHN CONSTANTINE. They have butchered everything that was Constantine about "Hellblazer," and Gentrified and Americanized it. L.A.? American? What the FUCK?! Fuck that sideways and blind.
But, but Constantine has Rachel Weisz and Tilda Swinton for me to look forward to...AND I find Keanu to be far more tolerable than Halle Berry ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
