what i mean is, sometimes words have less.... obvious origins. the word "sincere" for example, literally translates as "without wax." which is rad bc in the old days of marble statue-carving, if a sculptor fucked it up a little, he could cover his error with wax. thus, an honest statue, mistakes and all, is "without wax."
The hardest part of that icon was thinking of an answer for "What is fuck?" I was going to go with "Sometimes you have to say what the ..." Or Van Halens Album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, is a take off of the word ..."
