After talking to my cousin and observing pretty much everyone I know, I'm convinced that the only reason any of us bother to grow up and get "real" jobs is because we want rolly chairs. Because, you know, it's all about the rolly chairs.

Rolly chairs are the best! And I hate it when other people re-adjust them, so I have to spend the first 10 minutes I'm at work getting comfy again.

Rolling chairs aren't everything...

There's a lot to be said about business cards, too. Especially when you can use them to win free lunch in restaurant drawings (not that I've ever won).

BUSINESS CARDS!!!! You are so not fucking kidding. When I got my "real" job, I immediately requested business cards, even though I didn't really think I'd need 'em, to pass out to friends and family. "Look! I have a real job! The little card says so!!"

You've gotta make sure they rolly chair has the air lift......so when you get bored you can raise it really high and then drop. It's the little things in life I guess...:)

Yes.. the rolly chairs with the air-lift. And it's got to have five wheels, not your standard four; for added stability- I've yet to tip a five wheel chair- because nothing pisses me off more than leaning too far back your desk chair and landing flat on your ass...

You have to have a "real job" to have a rolly chair? Hrmph. We've had one for a good 5 years and I still don't have a real job! ;)

I have a rolly chair...probably from the early 80s. It sucks so I use the non rolly one (which isn't much better). And from what I can tell, at Emory, you can't just go and get a rolly chair that doesn't kill your back unless you're faculty. hmph.

Being a computer nerd and not having a rolly chair is not good. :(

OH hell yeah....you are so right Kelly....thanks for the laugh! :O)

is that why I had to become self-employed?

because I do not desire a rolly chair?

Baph has a rolly chair that I use occasionally but I don't like it any better than my non-rolly chair. Cuz, you know, it'a all about the comfort...
