No, you're right that V finally picked up speed. It just got interesting, and now comes the hiatus for retooling. I never watched the 4400 except for a moment here and there. That seemed really slow, bland, and generic. With a new showrunner, maybe V won't keep going down that route.
Now FlashForward on the other hand, well, I've given that show up maybe two or three episodes ago. That was dull except for what information they held back and the supporting characters. I didn't like either of the two leads, even though I love Penny on Lost. Fiennes whiny hubby has no hope when he's competing against Jack Davenport.
