My home state has a sitting state senator running as a member of the "NASCAR party."

The NASCAR party?? Holy crap, that is so freaking awesome. I'm going to start a political party based on my favorite sport/pastime: The Soccer Hooligan Party. Drink excessively and beat the CRAP out of your opponent. Could also be the Rugby Party or even the Hockey Party. Drinking is not a requirement, as I don't really drink much these days, but the ability to at least feign belligerent intoxication is a must. The riots at the '68 DNC will look like a hippie sit-in compared to our victory party in 2012. And yes, our president will wear a blood-stained jersey at all times while in office. You think the world is afraid of us now, just wait.
