Dragon*Con countdown

So according to the website, Elisabeth Rohm is coming to Dragon*Con.

I wonder if she'd get it if I went up to her and said "MY LEZBIAN IZ PASTEDE ON YAY!"?

...Probably not. Maybe I should ask her if Fred Thompson's as much of a dick as he seems like instead. Better yet, if Dick Wolf's as much of a dick as he seems like.

And I also see that Adam Baldwin has cancelled. Adam Baldwin for Elisabeth Rohm? NOT a fair trade.

How do you mean? I'm sorry, I don't understand the question (truly not being sarcastic, I promise). You mean, what is she doing at con? I'd guess cashing in on her Angel connection.

In her last episode of Law and Order, Branch fires Serena (basically, because she was right and he was wrong), and she asks, "Is it because I'm a lesbian?" I'm pretty sure Dick Wolf stuck that in at the last moment in a desperate and transparent attempt to make Law and Order relevant again or controversial or something, without any risk of backlash from the right (and he seems to be getting increasingly right-wing, IMNSHO) because the character was being fired. There had never been anything at all to suggest the character was lesbian, thus the MY LEZBIAN IZ PASTEDE ON YAY because it struck me as so fake.

I think I actually ranted about it on LJ at the time!

Gotta say ... love him on Law and Order, but if he wins I might jump off of a bridge. Haven't commented on any journals lately because of a slight depressed phase, but wanted to tell you that the pic of you and the hubby is beautiful. Glad to know you're so happy.
