The Beat? Crikey. I somehow missed the fact that that show ever existed. But it was Tom Fontana (thank you IMDB), and there's a long history of Tom Fontana and Dick Wolf sharing actors much more often than my friends and I swap books and CDs. If there's ever an Oz reunion and a L&O reunion, they could hold them in the same ballroom.
