for future reference: to screenshot, get what you want on the screen, hit "print screen" on your keyboard, and then open whatever image editor you prefer (or MS Paint) and paste! voila, screenshot.

Depending on keyboard versions and Windows versions, you may alternately need to hit CTRL-Print Screen to get a screencap of the entire screen. Also, ALT-Print Screen will screencap only the currently active window at its current size. Handy for making small screencaps.
