My thoughts on the season finale of House:

Meh.

Look, I cut my teeth on Days of Our Lives. I can smell a dream sequence a mile away. This was so totally obvious that I never got invested in it, as it wasn't even a particularly good dream sequence. If I'm going to watch House hallucinating, it should at least involve a threesome with Cameron and Cuddy.

Seriously. I was amazed with how many people went with it. Maybe I've just watched too many soap operas (and when Days of Our Lives is involved, just about any is too much, unless it involves Jack, my all-time favorite especially since Stefano's apparently finally dead and the writers have ruined Billie about five times over).

STEFANO IS FINALLY DEAD?

WHAT THE FUCK???

More towards seriousness, I suspected we were dealing with hallucinations, but I was trapped by the realisation that only some parts were hallucinations to see the big picture.

God, talk about intense television, though. They've gotten more and more gory. I couldn't watch the eye bit.

Tony showed us a half-rotten corpse that he claimed was Stefano. But if Days has taught us anything, it's that even if there is a body, it doesn't mean someone is dead.

I knew it was fake the moment they wheeled Moriarty in (the ICU isn't THAT small.) I just enjoyed seeing the twists and turns of House's mind. This is the first time (other than "Three Stories") where we got to see exactly how House's mind works without that cynical snark filter attached. And while we didn't get any good smut outta it, it did indicate he does have some chaste lusting of Cam going on, and some underlying issues with Wilson. I didn't feel cheated -- that would've been if they had really tried an "is he gonna live?" cliffhanger. But the real cliffhanger -- the question of how House's life is going to change and if he's going to look beyond his leg -- is fodder for abour half a season of eps this fall.

I knew for most of the episode that it was all a dream/hallucination. What gave it away was the fact that he was able to walk without his cane, plus the mexican stand scenes. It was very well done.

I liked it. I kinda only half caught the hallucinations thing, and it wasn't until House killed the guy that I realized that it was ALL a hallucination.

House using the surgery robot to turn Cameron on was really super seductive tho =)

It was really a let-down. Fun, gross and Cameron on the table was a nice little kick, but based on what led up to this episode, I have really no vested interest in following up this fall.

Unless Cuddy continues to get injections in her office.

I thought it was totally obvious too.

Yeah, BUT ... at least they didn't have a prom. In the hospital.
