You know, if my day is going to get any worse, I'd really just rather it go ahead and happen right now, so I'll know exactly how many pints of Godiva ice cream I need to stop and get on the way home.

Pick up some pound cake or angelfood cake and use slices of it to make and ice cream sandwich-thing (feel free to use hot fudge, caramel, nuts, etc., in lieu of traditional condiments) that you can eat one handed. Add bottle of rum.

If you let the ice cream soften just slightly you can spread it on the pound cake (you have to let it get fairly soft for the angelfood cake). If you are impatient, you can simply use a bunch of tiny scoops and screw spreading.


Sadly, I've actually done this (with something other than rum, though -- just can't remember what).
It still isn't as gross as the "suicide sundays" my best friend and I invented in the sixth grade.
