  • I watched Pirates of the Caribbean again for like the fifth time. And you know, I don't know why it didn't occur to me before, Will's cute, but Norrington's snarky. That's hot.

  • Han and Leia? Still one of the best love stories in movies.

  • Anakin and Padme? Still one of the worst love stories in movies. As if you had any doubt.

  • Being a pop-culture whore is useful because it keeps my mind off the things that are really bothering me, like parking. And traffic.

  • No obscene gestures in the car this morning, but don't think I didn't think about it.

  • There's something disarming about seeing your username in a friend's post and realizing that they're basically referring to you as the most foul-mouthed person they know. I'm twisted enough to be flattered, though.

  • You people post too much on the weekends.

  • Still not king.

  • Mmmmmmm, Norrington...

Leia at least has the comfort of knowing that she's WAY cooler than her parents (not that it required much of a stretch).

I don't consider you that terribly foul-mouthed, but then again I've yet to meet you in person. I'm bound to be shocked! *blinks!*

Norrington would be rather tasty...once he got that scary powdered wig off his head. I'm not down with the George Washington look, myself.

So, Kel, I just watched the story arc from "The City that Bleeds." They do some heavy suggestions about who shot Pratt, but they leave it open for interpretation. Does this ever get resolved/mentioned again? Who's your guess?

The closest it comes to being resolved is during the final episode of the series. It's never been explicitly stated, but it's pretty much consensus whodunit. Who do you think?

I'm leaning towards Munch, but Pembleton's alibi wasn't hot.

Generally, it could have been ANY cop who saw him go out, but it's not nice to have it be someone we've never heard of.

I think Munch is capable of having done it, but the guilt would be pretty severe.

padme's cool in the sense that from an early age she was a political whiz kid (she was the youngest queen ever elected on naboo). but leia obviously learned something about personality from bail organa.

Definitely have to agree with you about Padme and Anakin -- though I started to disagree. I thought to myself, no, wait. There's a worse one. Then I remembered that they were the worse one....

I didn't clue into the Norrington thing until the third time I watched the movie.

Yum.

I LOVE that movie... but I would love Johnny Depp reading the phone book.

Yeah, Norrington has actually grown on me as well. His oh-so-disdainful "so it would seem" is delightful.

You should check out the British TV series Coupling Jack Davenport, Norrington plays the lead. {They are on DVD!} I think it is very funny!

I'm also known for foul-mouthedness. Also" She'll like it. There are murders in it."
I think I have a reputation...

I dunno, it works for me. They're just compatible enough to be desperately hot for each other's bodies, but not compatible enough to be anything but bad for each other. Which is important -- if they made a better couple, they wouldn't have split up, she wouldn't have hidden the children from him, and he might possibly have settled down into being a doting husband and father instead of becoming Darth Vader...
