I've always suspected that Boba Fett was gay. In Return of the Jedi, he was standing around in the alien love nest called "Jabba's Palace," and he, the greatest bounty hunter and he-man in the universe, didn't hit on a single woman, not even that gorgeous green twilek dancer. Maybe he was married at the time:)
Seriously, I have no idea why Lucas decided to fuck with his films the way he did. He said something about remaking them the way he wanted to make them in the first place. To me, that's like changing a family photo to make your eyes a different color.
To Lucas: You made very successful pictures with the technology you had at the time. You broke some new ground in special effects, and you created a kind of mythology (silly and derivative as it is) for movie-hounds like me. Leave it! I have VHS copies of the original trilogy, the "untouched" trilogy, and I may never be able to get copies of them after these wear out. Come on, man!
Anyway, what's up, Kelly? I saw you at DragonCon, but it was in an elevator, and I had to get somewhere really fast. How did your DragonCon go?
