I remember lunchroom discussions centering on several commonly served veggie-mash style dishes, which my buddies were certain the staff prepared from last week's leftovers in a nuclear reactor. Then along came a newly launched campaign to "improve the nutritional value of our school lunches"... soon we were actually *missing* the horrid old stuff :).
I saw Spiderman 2 with a friend Friday night, and thought it was pretty decent. Definitely had a neat Marvel-esque feel to it. No plans to see Catwoman; it just seems terribly wrong in some basic, plastic-coated way. Nobody I know wants to see it, aside from a couple of dudes that just have to see Halle Berry crammed into black latex. Not my style, but if it keeps them from closing The Derby for the tenth night in a row I suppose it's done some good :).
Reminds me of grade school lunches...
