Ridge says al Qaeda planning attack before elections
When combined with the link I posted last week on the possibility of cancelling elections, this scares me even more. The thing is, currently I'm less scared of terrorists than I am of my own government, with its 1984-style threats and attempts to quash all dissent...
I don't even know why I bother posting this stuff. You all can find it yourselves, and it's not like it's helping anything...

Date: 2004-07-08 09:14 am (UTC)Sure, we can all find it ourselves, but will we always? Many times you've grabbed an artcle that I would have missed, and I'm always deeply appreciative.
Sure, it isn't your job to keep us all updated on the scary political manueverings of George Rex's administration -- but I personally find it veryreassuring that other people are as scared as I am of what the government does (and tries to do).
