It seems so unreal that today is the day, and furthermore that anyone could care. Must be the low self-esteem talking. Oddly, I'm more nervous about the airing than I was about the taping.

I'll be posting a full account of the experience hopefully soon after the airing. And thank you all for being so supportive. It means a lot.

A friend who works in the poli sci dept was on in January and we had a viewing party in the dept for her and she said she felt like throwing up. It was the same kind of thing, way worse watching it versus the actual taping.

I liked your hometown howdy (or whatever my friend said they called it). Definitely the best one of the bunch. :)

Well done you! I just got done watching (it was on at 7:30 in Detroit) I thought you did very well. I was so impressed that you got the Final Jeopardy, I had no clue on that one. Too bad you were up against some sort of trivia-phenom. I'm hoping you're going to post about what sort of consolation prizes you got (I always wonder about that, it seems like the first place person gets all the money, and the runners up get fish sticks and shampoo) and also what Alex is like in person. dear lord, is that guy still on? freak of nature is right. I didn't see last night b/c I'm not used to the TV schedule here in California (whoever heard of airing J! BEFORE Wheel of Fortune?) but it sounds like you made a good showing. congrats. consolation prizes don't suck, either.
