It seems so unreal that today is the day, and furthermore that anyone could care. Must be the low self-esteem talking. Oddly, I'm more nervous about the airing than I was about the taping.

I'll be posting a full account of the experience hopefully soon after the airing. And thank you all for being so supportive. It means a lot.

A friend who works in the poli sci dept was on in January and we had a viewing party in the dept for her and she said she felt like throwing up. It was the same kind of thing, way worse watching it versus the actual taping.

I liked your hometown howdy (or whatever my friend said they called it). Definitely the best one of the bunch. :)

Well done you! I just got done watching (it was on at 7:30 in Detroit) I thought you did very well. I was so impressed that you got the Final Jeopardy, I had no clue on that one. Too bad you were up against some sort of trivia-phenom. I'm hoping you're going to post about what sort of consolation prizes you got (I always wonder about that, it seems like the first place person gets all the money, and the runners up get fish sticks and shampoo) and also what Alex is like in person. I saw you mention Philly so I looked at your profile - you live in Exton? AND went to Immaculata? ARE YOU MY EVIL TWIN?

Right now I live in West Caln and I'm moving to the south Exton/north West Chester area this weekend. AND I just graduated from Immaculata last month with an Accounting degree! (I wonder if we ever had any classes together.)

I feel a bit twilight-zone-ish right now....

The questions this time seemed a little wierd; I got fewer answers than usual for certain. Still, it's cool that you got the Final Jeopardy question; I hadn't the slightest idea.

And...Barbie? Frighteningly enough, that was MY guess. Don't sweat losing money on that one!

Just watched the show off the DVR -- you kicked ass! You've got a great smile (loved the smile when you got the Turkey question) and it was awesome at the end when you finished writing way before the other two and it was obvious they didn't know the answer.

I hadn't seen an episode of Jeopardy in years. When did they stop kicking people off after 5 consecutive wins? I mean, really. 15 wins in a row? That's fucked up. And the categories are nothing like I remembered either.

Anyway, great job; it was cool to see somone I "know" on Jeopardy.
