I was sprawled out on the floor the other night getting my daily dose of SportsCenter when the anchors started talking about Gary Payton's latest bout of whininess and it hit me...

I really don't want the Lakers to break up.

And why not? Because they're the best show in sports. Prima donnas, temper tantrums, infighting, backstabbing... it's better than reality TV!

I'm not sure what there is in me that gets so much amusement from the Lakers. Probably my sense of schadenfreude.

In other news, thanks to wacko1138 for greatly improving a really sucky day by giving me crack Babylon 5.

Bah - Google Smoogle. They don't know anything anyhow. It was horrible to watch the Lakers beat the damned Spurs on Sunday - they kept beating up on that likeable little French person as well. With Tim Duncan doing his best impersonation of a freshly dissected frog, it was almost too much to stomach.

You *are* in trouble if Bruce Bowen and Devin Brown are carrying your team :P
