What a birthday!!

Last night as the evening at El Myr was winding down, la_poubelle turned to me and said, "You're not going to post an entry next year about how this birthday sucked, are you?"

No. Definitely not.

Great thanks to all who made it out to El Myr last night! At one point I looked around the table(s) and counted thirteen people. Considering that a couple of years ago I think maybe three people showed up despite me inviting all of ljatlanta, this really touched me. As did all your good wishes.

Thank you, everyone, for making it a very special birthday.

Maybe... Maybe not. Like I told you when we first because friends, there are many parts odf you that remind me of myself when I was your age (ya youngin'!). Perhaps that is why sometimes I am hard on you, because I see you for the potential you have. But, if I am going to be hard on you, hen it is only fair that I pat you on the back too!

And I think that last paragraph sound's snobby, but it isn't. I am just admitting that I have f*ucked up many times in my life, and if I can help someone with what I have learned all the times I have been an idiot, then so be it.
