Oy vey, I'm so meshuggenah I could plotz!

My coworkers blew my mind.

We always have birthday parties at work, and I knew mine was going to involve an ice-cream cake and possibly some other stuff. But I was blown away. My coworkers gave me a Jeopardy!-themed party, complete with theme music (my boss Will even made me a birthday CD) and balloons! Balloons are shiny and happy! We even played a little game where we played a CD with television theme songs and tried to be the first one to name the show. It was really, really, really, really, really, really sweet. I was grinning till my face hurt and I wanted to say something, but couldn't think of anything good enough to convey how touched I was.

It's really awesome to know that people care about me.

My birthday gift to you is the following: Whenever you get down and are feeling insecure, just remember, you are far more attractive than the Journal/Periodical chick? at the MCG library. You don't have a growth on your eyelid, nor do you look weirdly lumpy, nor do you have a five o'clock goatee shadow. And... you don't stand like an orc.
