Apr. 7th, 2004 03:52 pmAs I've said before and will probably say again, despite my fascination with the weird and unconventional, I just really don't think there's really anything to dreams. Occasionally I can see an interpretation of one, but I generally don't consider them to be harbingers of much of anything. Just our brains' attempts at amusing themselves while we're asleep by putting together bits of our lives in new and strange combinations, like a jigsaw puzzle on crack.
But occasionally I'll have a dream so weird that even I have to sit up and take notice.
In this dream, my teeth were rotting and falling out. I kept having to stop and spit them out and occasionally throw up. This caused much disgust among others until finally I had to go through some sort of dental procedure that was very, very painful.
I knew I should have written this down in the morning while the details were still fresh...
Maybe it means I need to go to the dentist.

Date: 2004-04-07 01:04 pm (UTC)Maybe it's related to your eating habits, and a subliminal fear of rotting your teeth with sugar and other bad stuff? Not that you eat badly, but it's a possibility.

Date: 2004-04-07 03:17 pm (UTC)I've had *TONS* of these dreams. So have lots of people I know.
I prescribe bubble baths, sushi and chocolate, but probably not all at once. A good stupid girly movie that makes you cry might help, too. Let out some of those anxiety toxins.
