Signs you've spent way too much time watching Homicide, The Shield, and assorted forensic investigation shows:

You're driving at night, and you see a bulldozer that's digging in someone's yard, with big lights so they can see what they're doing at night, and your first thought is "Huh. I bet they're looking for a body."

Josh and I watch C.S.I. and the Shield. Our newest tag-line if someone has said or done something they think is really brilliant, when it's actually merely stating the obvious, is: "Wow! You should be on C.S.I.! Detectives need someone like you to ferret out clues!"
