Aw, bugger New Year's resolutions, anyhow. I've a feeling we stand a much better chance of actually making the changes we want to make, if we vow to make the change as soon as we realize it's needed.
When we were chatting recently, you mentioned you're not sure how to do nice things for yourself. So here's a thought: instead of bothering with New Year's resolutions, how about thinking up one way to be good to yourself, and make a vow to start doing that? :-)
You got any suggestions? I haven't the foggiest, except maybe for taking more time for myself. It's really funny to me how much painting my minis helps me relax.
So is treating yourself to anything free or inexpensive that you love: allowing yourself a Hershey's kiss a couple of times a day, taking at least one bubblebath a week, going for walks more often, asking buddies for shoulder rubs, etc. :-)
