I was just thinking that a really terrific Munch icon would be a picture of Munch looking pissed with the line from Meldrick's grandmother at the wedding: "You're the one who took too many drugs and damaged his brain."

I think we need a community for Munch junkies.

Or fanagle, how about a picture of Kellerman with the line "There are no absolutes in life. Only in vodka"?

Someone out in LJ-land has a brilliant icon that's a picture of Pembleton with the caption "Please don't be an idiot. Thank you."

I need a good quote for a MunchenKay icon. Any ideas?

Pretty compelling stuff--not quite on a par with early Buffy in my estimation, but I can certainly see the potential there. I suspect, from both your and musesfool's praise, that the characters really gel in later seasons, whereas the two standouts from the DVDs I watched were Bayliss and Pembleton.

You're correct. As much as I loved the first two seasons, when I got my season 3 DVDs and put them in I almost immediately realized that that was when it really started to click. Definitely check out "Crosetti" -- one of the very best episodes, and hours of television period, ever.

Personally, I believe that seasons 1 and 2 are pretty damn perfect...except too short. To whomever mentioned BTVS, you know I ficced thesquad to Sunnydale? good times.
The thing about MunchNKay, Kellinator, is that it's more how they talk than what they say, but I had one on the tip of my tongue, so to speak, and damn, it's gone.(I would, quite seriously watch a show that was them teasing each other, and the occasional FranknTim bickerfest, without too much else going on.)
I'm hot for more than half the cast, which is more even than on Buffy...it's kind of embarrassing.

Oh...I can't even think about that without wanting to go off on this whole Munch-like rant about the double standard, and the tyranny of demographics and so on. Someday, I'll get my facts straight and post it, huh?(Couldn't resist...since I've written about her I've gotten a bit of a habit, though) And I'd write about how hard it is to find a single woman on TV who's not a man-crazy freak who worries about her butt.SVU is a strange show...too serious and imo too many of the characters are...well, flat. (Not the Munchkin, although sometimes I sense them trying to make him...respectable, or something. which kind of breaks my heart...I like him as a freak.
