I've discovered that I have a superpower. Somebody get me Xavier's number and a funky costume.

The only problem is, I can't, like, move things with my mind or shoot energy blasts or drink fifteen Long Island Iced Teas and not get a hangover. No, I have one of the useless superpowers. I walk into a room and the rules of logic stop applying.

And of course, I can't control it. It could potentially be pretty cool to make the laws of logic stop applying at will and make them act to my advantage. Sort of like, "Here, The Cheat! Have a trophy!" Only I think I'd hold out for money and adulation. But no. Instead, weird shit happens. Like, I could totally write a novel about my life and publishers would say "this is way too far-fetched." All I'm missing are the aliens. And a shrubbery.

Anyway, this is why you'll frequently hear me roll my eyes and mutter "There is no logic in Kelly-world."

Lol! I have the same superpower! Or at least a related one. Way back when Andrew and I were still dating it was dubbed the Chaos Field(TM). It is the reason why computers fry at my touch, crazy people cross the street just to speak with me, and why I am at the very center of every freaky event within a twenty mile radius.
Following the all-important Comic Book Rules, we must be related. Just as long as we aren't Summers' I won't complain...

I have this really deep theory about stuff like this. I think it has to do with the electical impulses that control your muscles. It gives each individual thier own magnetic field. Some people's fields don't like computers, electronics, or, apparently, themselves. Anyway...

Weirdness Magnet

I don't know if you've ever played GURPS, but it's a really sweet RPG system. Anyway, in it, there is actually something you can choose when creating your character called "Weirdness Magnet." It basically means that weird, inexplicable shit happens to you all the time, for no reason. Portals open from other dimensions and aliens invite you to tea. Stuff like that.

This reminds me that I need to write up my post on having the GURPS disad, Weirdness Magnet. The shit that happens around me defies laws of probability.
So, yes, I empathize. I do have other powers though such as "Garlic Boy" and "Schlep Lad".

Possibly you have other powers as well.
