Plus I think it's in our genes. Wasn't there thatstudy recently about "cads and dads" and how women try to have babies by cads, and try to marry dads because cads provide better genes and better possibility of more gene reproduction, whereas we marry dads because they provide the shelter and responsibility we need to carry those genes forward...

Suddenly, it all makes sense. We want to get knocked up by Agent Smith, and then marry Elrond. And if we're lucky once in a while we'll persuade Elrond to put on the sunglasses.

(Of course, wouldn't Elrond have the genetic edge, being an elf and all?)
