Can somebody explain this BlogShares business to me?

Here's where I rank. I have to say it's something of an ego boost. Too bad I can't cash in to pay off my credit cards...

I'm trying to figure it out myself. Mine isn't on there, but when I try to figure out why not, I get pointed to Weblogs.com. I have it checked off for weblogs to get updated (I turned it on about a week ago), yet my journal isn't showing up there, for some reason. And it needs to show up there for it to show up on blogshares.

I don't get it either. Why am I on there? I would think that to be listed, I would have had to sign up or something? I don't know. it's weird. If you figure it out, let me know!

In order to be on there, you need to be pinging weblogs.com (which you can turn on and off in your user info). Not sure where it goes from there.
