I rushed into the library this morning and was greeted by Derek saying "Don't hurry, the system is down."

We've been hit by Ye Olde LovSam Worm. I'm posting this from one of the crapola old machines in GovDocs.

I foresee much paperwork today. And mockery of Bill Gates.

it is my firm belief that viruses are spread through human stupidity. everyone knows who i'm talking about: that one person in *every* office who feels the need to forward everything he/she gets. these people blindly open every piece of mail they get. you don't have to be a computer expert to know not to do this...how many virus warnings have we seen over the years "don't open your fucking e-mail..", and yet, people still do this..

Looks like it hit everyone everywhere, we have been cleaning it up all morning here to where I work...I was hoping Emory's libraries would be clear as I start working there next week.....
