Would you believe that I'm actually considering going to see Gigli just to point and laugh?

Then again, it would be much wiser to wait till it comes to home video so I can invite you guys to join me in pointing and laughing without pissing off anyone who actually might be attempting to watch it. And at the rate it's going, it should be out of the theaters and on video in about three weeks.

Then again, [livejournal.com profile] tall_man says statistically an average of only about ten people were in each showing, so I suppose a bunch of us could take over a theater and invite anyone who's actually showed up to watch to join us in throwing popcorn at the screen.

Isn't Gigli the one with the stellar line: [J-lo spreading legs]"It's turkey time! So gobble gobble!"?

I'm just curious why you would want to waste your money that way. Even for a matinee showing. I'm sure you can think of about, oh, seventy million different ways you could spend the $6.50 in a better fashion. :)

cheers,
Phil

To Great Kellinator -

Believe it or not, I would actually join you in pointing and laughing. I have no other reason to see the movie (as attractive as she is, she just don't do it for me), so, if you're game, I'll do it - provided that we actually do something else FUN afterwards, like throw darts or talk or something.

I haven't used my MST3K skills in a LONG LONG TIME...

This movie sounds ripe for some MST3K action.

Any movie as bad as Gigli promises to be must be seen to be believed. I fully support you and your bad movie lifestyle choices. Just...go on a Tuesday or something, ok? We don't want to give them any more money than absolutely necessary - after all, crucial as bad movies are to a full cultural experience, we really shouldn't encourage that sort of thing...

I could so use a free-for-all mst3k experience. Get some words out. Hehe..

ps.. next time you are going to be in the store, if you think of it, maybe let me know and we can plan to do something afterwards? It's kind of an aquarium feeling when a friend comes in and I can't really talk. I am the fish. Help me. Hehe..

wow! you still have $1 theaters? i'd watch a spectacularly shitty movie for $1.

i haven't been to one since florida... and that place went $1.50, then went belly up. movies here are like $6-7, and that's with a student ID. :(
