hair question

I think it would be a lot of fun to have funky-colored hair while on vacation (!) next week. Does anyone know of any interesting temporary dyes? I'm thinking a nice purple.

The gell will be okay for streaks but even for that I'm not sure it will be that bright- it may look a dirty brownish purple. If you have enough money and enough time for them to get to you, you could weair falls and use the gel on your hair that's showing to blend it in. I don't wear loose falls, only dreadfalls usually, but I hear black and blue (http://www.black-and-blue.net) and Divaluxe (http://www.divaluxe.com) both do good work. I think Black and Blue is cheaper, though. :)

Hot Topic has some spray in and gel hair colors. I've never been brave enough to put them on, myself, but if you want to try it...

Kool-Aid. Washes out well with water; just don't go out in the rain. ;)

Sexy Hair Concepts has some neato stuff, like the Metal Head Metallic Gel. Of course, that's a wash-out gel, not a dye. You can get their products at some of the funkier salons (I guess you'd have to call around), or here:

heh, i was about to spout off all kindsa useful suggestions, and then i noticed you said temporary dyes.

but... if you try a temporary and feel unsatisfied once it's gone, i'll be glad to offer tips on semi-permanence. =)
