Not that I've ever really been in a situation where this was tested, but I like to think of myself as a pretty peaceful person. At least a few times in my life I've turned the other cheek.

But when I think about someone who has done harm to someone I care about, that makes me want to spit nails, boil blood, kick ass, and take names.

This is all just my roundabout way of saying some people should be damn glad that they're out of state.

I know what you mean. When someone hurts those near to me, people that have been by my side when shit hit the fan, I find it very hard to stay out the business and not butt in.
i.e."If you mess with my friends, I mess with you. BIG TIME."
