reason #4082 I hate driving in Atlanta
May. 7th, 2003 01:57 pmI was driving down 85 yesterday evening when a tanker a couple of cars in front of me decided to switch into my lane. I had to hit my brakes...
...and my car started skidding everywhere. Out of control. All over the place.
Through what I have decided is divine intervention, I managed to regain control of the car and keep going, albeit nearly in tears.
...Oh, and all this happened while I was on the phone. No, the phone isn't why it happened, before you start on me. But I'm told it was pretty disturbing to suddenly hear me screaming hysterically.

Date: 2003-05-07 05:27 pm (UTC)My last close-call similar to yours was when I was going down to San Diego. I hit the I-15/215 split north of San Bernadino at about 100-105mph and some SUV had the gall to pull into my lane doing about 75. (Needless to say, I survived but I let him have it.)
