I live in Bizarro World.
Apr. 16th, 2003 06:53 pmMy mom just called me and in the course of the conversation mentioned that she had to get home in time for American Idol.
I was a little surprised -- my mom is not a fan of reality TV. Hell, she used to mock me mercilessly for watching Survivor. "You're watching that?"
"I voted last night," she replied, and then launched into a five-minute analysis of who has the best voice, who's cute as a bug but doesn't have as great a voice, and which contestants she thinks are hooking up.
My mom is funny.

american idol is not a reality t.v. show
more like a talent show with a "behind the scenes" flair
there, now my non-conformist, non-reality t.v. show watching concience is clear
