The wound update

Because I know you're just all dying to know about my puncture wound!! :P

Most of the funky purple/gray coloring has faded out, and the wound itself is just a tiny dot. I even went band-aidless today.

Half my friends list is exhorting me to get a tetanus shot. The other half is making bets on what I'll injure next.

The only reason you need to get a tetanus shot is if it's been more thatn 10 years since your last one. Since you don't get cut my metal often and don't work in a foundry/machine shop/sheet metal plant, you should be fine. Glad to hear that the wound is better. Now, don't do it again.

I've recently been told, by a doctor, that while the shots are SUPPOSED to last ten years, there's some reason to doubt their efficacy after about five.
