Sometimes I hate myself for the things that I do that I damn well know better than to do but I do them anyway because I'm so fucking stubborn.

Some of that fucking shit you do over and over makes you the wonderful person some of us like as a friend. I'd appreciate it if you would continue to do that shit. Your smile and hug may seem repititious to you, but they're pretty damn special to me when I'm feeling a bit rough around the edges.
