Even if you like George W. Bush, I fail to see how any American can feel good about this:

That quote would crack me up if the future of my beloved country weren't at stake. Because he is such a fucking idiot--that's why corporations have focus groups, so they can make decisions that people like. Moron. I thought he at least understood the basic way a company is run. Apparently, I was giving him too much credit (which is scary).

Alas, we're speaking of a man who is our President due to judicial intervention, rather than due to popular vote. Who knows what deleterious effect that's had on his respect for "we the people"...? :-(

one of the things the president Clinton was consistently criticed for, all eight years, by both ends of the political spectrum, was his willingness to set policy based on the results of a focus group and not based on what was actually, best, prudent or constitutional.

I hope this is his last term in office, and that his brother Jeb *never* makes it to the presidency (the man has totally screwed up Florida)....
