Band names

I guess I've just read too much Dave Barry, because I'm constantly saying "That would make a great band name." Unfortunately I can't currently remember any of the prospective band names I've said it about.

My boss told me he went to hear a group called Atomic Kitten and he was expecting riot grrls, but they were playing ballads and stuff. I expressed the opinion that any band that has "atomic" in its name should have a lot of explosions or your money back.

When I was in an econ seminar a few years ago, we read Marx' diatribe about Young Hegelians, and I thought it'd be such a great band name. Lots of angry disaffected youth singing about the dialectic and stuff.

I went through a period where I was reading so much Dave Barry I was starting to sound like him. My e-mails were punctuated with "I am not making this up." Band names I've come up with: "Angry neigbors" and "Band of Wooden Panthers".
