Entertainment Weekly weighs in on "How not to screw up the next Spider-Man movie":

That's one of the many things I love about Entertainment Weekly: They don't discriminate between forms of entertainment (as opposed to people who, say, snootily declare that they never watch TV but go to see every stinky movie that hits theaters). And they have writers who know comics!!

Of course, most importantly, they have snark. And everyone knows, it's all about the snark.

I think it's cool that Michael Chabon is working on the script for the Spider-Man sequel. Besides being a really good writer, he's a major fan of comics. Should be interesting...

Yes! Have you read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay? I should pick it up when I have time.

Spiderman always manages to expose my inner geek. I just get too excited.

Speaking of snark and television, I would suggest you read Television Without Pity. They are all about good snarkiness.
