This morning I stumbled bleary-eyed to the TV and turned it on in search of my morning dose of CNN's American Morning. (Think Today, minus the celebrity interviews and plus a hefty dose of hard news.)

I'd completely forgotten that last night I was watching Space Ghost Coast to Coast and therefore I'd left the TV on Cartoon Network.

My eyes and ears, eager for cranky Jack Cafferty, didn't know what to make of huge-eyed hamsters fighting and singing a truly obnoxious little jingle.

Yes, Hamtaro shocked me awake. May that never happen again.
