(no subject)

My interlibrary loan program has this color bar on the side to let me know when things are getting out of control. Normally it's green, but if I have a lot of requests to process, then it goes up to yellow.

I just logged in, and for the first time I can remember, it's red.

See you guys after lunch, I guess...

EDIT: Oh, and the requests are a bloody mess. Do I sound surprised? Listen fucknuts, for the last time, Reuters is not a newspaper...

Random scattered thoughts that I'm too lazy to organize into a real post

• I watched Pirates of the Caribbean again for like the fifth time. And you know, I don't know why it didn't occur to me before, Will's cute, but Norrington's snarky. That's hot.


• Han and Leia? Still one of the best love stories in movies.


• Anakin and Padme? Still one of the worst love stories in movies. As if you had any doubt.


• Being a pop-culture whore is useful because it keeps my mind off the things that are really bothering me, like parking. And traffic.


• No obscene gestures in the car this morning, but don't think I didn't think about it.


• There's something disarming about seeing your username in a friend's post and realizing that they're basically referring to you as the most foul-mouthed person they know. I'm twisted enough to be flattered, though.


• You people post too much on the weekends.


• Still not king.


• Mmmmmmm, Norrington...
