We are having a veddy proper English tea in the English department in fifteen minutes. We will drink Darjeeling and eat scones with clotted cream.

While I was writing that last post, the prof in charge of the tea came running in. The bakery had forgotten to deliver the scones and clotted cream (sounds disgusting, but it's good). She needed a volunteer to pick them up, but no one else had a car.

So now I am full of scones and tea and basking in the regard of the department. Life is good.
