Dragon*Con
Aug. 28th, 2002 11:55 pmEveryone has posted that they're going to Dragon*Con.
Except me.
I was really looking forward to Dragon*Con, with all the fun and the people I want to meet and the cute geek boys and the incomparable
deza teaching me how to flirt. But it's not happening. I've got to go to Florida for a wedding of two very dear college friends.
And in a way, I'm kinda relieved. Knowing my luck, there's going to be all sorts of drama at Dragon*Con, and if I've learned something lately, it's that I don't need extra drama.
I'd love to meet all of you. And it's easy enough to arrange. But not at Dragon*Con.

Date: 2002-08-29 09:35 am (UTC)The cute geek boys* are staying at home. Or, far far far more likely, spending the cash that would go to standing in a room full of fat losers dressed as Captain Kirk on Dance Dance Revolution.
Fuck yeah.
As far as Fantasm goes... THIS did more as far as making me *want* to go than any of the 'serious' discussions of the topic.
if I do go, it's gonna be in full rudeboy gear. black coat, white shoes, black hat,
cadillacyeah.*if by "cute geek boys" you mean "me". And I do. you should all come play DDR with me down at Southlake mall.
Re: cheers!
hahaha..
btw.. I fucking loved that link! Its brilliant! I would totally be up for going if I had a counterpart who was as into mockery as I was. We could travel under the pretence of being interested in the topics and activities at hand, and then giggle till our sides hurt when we expose their repulsive side show acts to the world!
