I got a French manicure on my fingernails so I would look professional.

And I got my toenails painted bright purple, because no matter where I work, I'll always be me.

I know what you mean. I painted my nails pinkish lavendar, in an attempt to project an image of "nonconformist, but competent."

I have yet to find something that says, "Freak, but I can do YOUR job, Yeah, baby!"
