It think it might feel sort of like when you are falling asleep and you are sort of dreaming, but not really and then you take a bad dream step on a sidewalk and jerk awake in your bed. Then you laugh to yourself knowing that nobody saw you be stupid and you didn't actually knock your teeth out on the sidewalk, so now that unpleasantness has gone by, you can relax and enjoy yourself.
